Hi my name is Ingrid Macias. I've been in the Army National Guard for more than 5 years now. In 2004, I was deployed to Iraq for a year. It was definitely an experience that i will never forget. This picture is of my best friends and I waiting to board the plane to go to Kuwait, which was our first destination before we went to Iraq. They made everything so much easier while I was over there. Thank God we all came back home safe. I just thought I should share this with the rest of the class, hope you guys like it. Thanks.

Wow Ingrid! that is awesome, Although I'm not in the military I have a brother who is in the Navy and was in Iraq for 6 months, and a cousin who was in the Army and he served 2 terms in Iraq for a year each time. Well its great that you made it back safe, I'm sure your family and friends were really excited when your arrived home.
Wow, I have to say I am so surprise
I would of never thought I had someone in our class that was serving our country. I don't know anyone that is serving in the military, you're the 1st one, I'm so glad you got home safe!
